REAL COORDINATES · YOUR SQUARE

This isn't a virtual world.
It's the one outside
your window.

RealSpace lets you claim a 12 m² square on the real-world map, design a 3D structure for it, and see it appear in augmented reality at those exact coordinates — visible to anyone who stands there. It's your square inside RealSpace, not a piece of real estate.

See how it works

From an empty square to something the whole street can see.

Five steps on one square of real ground: claim it, build on it, check it against the real street, publish it, then stand in front of it.

01 CLAIM

Claim a square of the real world.

The planet is divided into 12 m² squares, each pinned to real coordinates. Claim one on the map and it's yours inside RealSpace. Your first square is free: the nearest open one to you.

  • 12 m²
  • Real coordinates
  • First one free
02 BUILD

Build on it in RealSpace Studio.

Studio runs in your browser. Import a 3D model — a creature, a sculpture, a sign — stand it on your square, then move, turn, size and animate it. Too big for one square? Claim the squares it covers, right there.

03 SEE THE STREET

Check it against the real street.

Press MAP and your square becomes the actual street around it, in 3D, so you can see how your build sits among the real buildings before anyone else does.

  • Real 3D city
  • Right in Studio
  • First day free

The street here is real too: 5th Avenue in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter, built from OpenStreetMap data.

04 PUBLISH

Publish when it's ready.

SAVE keeps your work a draft that only you can see, in Studio and on your phone. PUBLISH puts it on the street for everyone, once it has been reviewed.

  • Drafts are private
  • Reviewed before public
05 STAND THERE

Then stand in front of it.

Walk there with the RealSpace app and it's standing exactly where you put it, for everyone who passes. They can like it, comment, save it and follow you.

  • At its coordinates
  • Seen by everyone

The app is coming soon to the App Store and Google Play.

For when one model on one square isn't enough.

Choreograph a whole scene

Put models on a timeline: which move they make, where they walk, when the sound hits. Every phone at the square plays the same moment, in step.

Rehearse it anywhere

Not at your square? Play the scene on your own floor: full size, or a tenth of it on the coffee table.

Try it, then keep it

Stand any model on the floor at life size in seconds. Keep it where it stands, for just you and the people you choose.

A store to start from

Browse models, try any of them on your floor before you get it, and share your own.

Made for real streets

It's the real world, so the rules are about real places.

  • Buildings hide what's behind them
  • Homes stay off-limits to public models
  • Every upload is reviewed before the public sees it
  • Report or block in one tap

Your models on the real street, in 3D.

A real recording from RealSpace Studio's MAP view, not a mock-up: the actual street in 3D, with a T-Rex, two fighters, a plane and a cuckoo clock standing on it, all playing one sequence together. Publish it and everyone standing there with the app sees the same scene, in step.
